Welcome Back! I'm looking forward to a great school year. 

My goal is to build a strong sense of community and respect within the classroom where each child feels valued and safe. I will strive to meet the individual needs of all students so that each child reaches his/her potential. Finally, I hope to make school as fun as possible and instill a love of learning in my students.

I am very excited to be your child's teacher this year.  I have been teaching for 21 years, and still look forward to working with my students each day.  I began teaching in Escondido Union School District fresh out of student teaching.  For 6 years I taught at Lincoln Elementary before coming to Carlsbad Unified School District. Before transferring to Pacific Rim, I taught 3rd grade at Aviara Oaks for 3 years. I am currently the GATE Liaison for Pacific Rim Elementary School.  I live in Carlsbad with my husband Bryan and our 3 daughters, Cate, Amy, and Bridget.  In my free time I enjoy reading, camping, running and going to the beach.
