BE the best you can BE

This is my 19th year teaching at Pacific Rim. Prior to entering the teaching profession, I spent three years on the east coast, in Hartford, Connecticut playing collegiate volleyball. After having plenty of snow for one's lifetime, I found my way back home to Carlsbad where I grew up and finished my undergraduate degree and credential at Cal State San Marcos. Within the past years, I completed my masters in Education Administration at Concordia University. I come from a family of educators. Both my parents are retired from teaching at the high school level. I am an auntie of 4 adorable kids, Miller (11), Paige (9) and  Grant aka bubba G (2) and sweet Vivi (5 months). Being an auntie is one of the BEST feelings I could ever have in my life. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy working out and spending time with my family and friends. I love to travel and feel lucky to have gotten to do a lot of it throughout my life.  Teaching has always been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember, and I look forward to sharing it with you and your children.
